Photobucket policy changes also changed the rules for paid accounts. My paid PRO account was useful and a good value for many years.

Suddenly my paid Photobucket Pro account was so full of advertising pop-ups and full page ad hijacks it was rendered nearly unusable. Even a simple log-in took several tries, as the log-in dialog would repeatedly disappear before the information could be entered. My paid account should have been good thru May 2018. Instead I was informed that the account would have to be upgraded to the most expensive new plan by December 2017 to maintain the same level of service.

Since Photobucket changed the rules only two months after the annual fee was paid, there should be some way to get a refund for 10 months of service not provided. Instead, I was repeatedly referred to their non-refundable payment policy.

When a company acts like this, I take my business elsewhere. It still took several tries to actually be allowed to close my unusable Photobucket account.
